Therapy that meets you as you are

Therapy for LGBTQ+ adults in Portland, and by video across Oregon. Bring the anxiety, the grief, the relationships and the questions about who you are. You don't have to explain yourself first.

Rooted in Presence, Guided by Curiosity

I'm Dr. Latrina Nash, a licensed clinical psychologist. I work with LGBTQ+ adults on anxiety, grief, relationships, and the quiet questions that don't always have a name, including who you are and how you want to live.

My approach is integrative. I draw on Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, psychodynamic therapy and body-based awareness, and I explain each before I use it. You can say no to any of it. I don't treat your identity as something to fix, and I don't ask you to explain or defend it.

Before opening my private practice I completed doctoral training in clinical psychology and worked at a community mental health center serving people with little insurance.

What to expect from Grace

  • Warmth

Every session starts from respect. You set the pace, and we can stop or change course at any point.

  • Mind and body

We pay attention to thoughts, feelings and what the body is telling you, and how they fit together.

  • Privacy

Your records stay private except where the law requires otherwise. The first session covers those limits.

  • Community

Where it helps, we talk about the people, family and friends around you, and the people you can lean on.

Ways We Can Work Together

Each path is shaped by your story, your pace, and what you want from the time.

Anxiety & Overwhelm

When the world feels too loud and your body won't settle, we work with body awareness and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy to help you find ground again.

Grief & Loss

Loss reshapes everything. We create space for all the feelings — the expected ones and the ones that surprise you — without rushing toward resolution.

Relationship Patterns

How early attachment shapes the way you connect now: with partners, family and friends. Seeing a pattern is the first step toward choosing differently.

Life Transitions

Coming out, transition, a move, a new job, becoming a parent, leaving a faith or a relationship: the stretches where the old map no longer applies.

THE PROCESS

How We Begin

A clear, gentle path from the first message to ongoing sessions.

  • 01

    A message

Write a few lines through the form. We reply by email or phone. Nothing needs filling in first.

  • 02

    First session

We talk about privacy, fees and what you want from the time. No pressure, and you can decide afterward.

  • 03

    Ongoing sessions

Most people meet weekly at first. We build trust, go deeper and leave room to change the plan.

  • 04

    Spacing out

As things settle, we can meet less often. The door stays open for later.

What Clients Share

Sample words from clients, for the practice to replace with its own.

  • “The room felt calm from the first minute. I was listened to, and I was never made to feel like a case.”

    Sadaf M.
  • “I had been unsure about starting. Here I could say a thing once and not have to defend it.”
